People are beautiful, the way their collars carry the weight of their failures yet still manage to shine when the sun is high in the sky. I like the way they celebrate their personality with little things like choosing colors for their clothes or how they can smile at friends and start a day with no one acknowledging that once again they’ve managed to tie their shoelaces. Do you think we remember walking through the world when we were less than two feet tall, with questions higher than ourselves? I hope we do, because I can see it, the young and clueless child in the man or woman scurrying from the rain or paying the bus fare. I like the way big shoes finally fit us, and the form our spines take when we sit and eat our meals. It’s the simple things of people to me that make them heroes and brave as any train I read about when I was in elementary school. I love hugging people. Happy Sunday!
